2015 Summer Weights & Conditioning

All LaVille student athletes – boys and girls – are welcome to join the LaVille Athletic Staff to enhance their athletic abilities by taking part in the summer weight lifting and conditioning program.  The summer program is non-sport specific and will work on an individual’s physical strength, endurance, foot speed, jumping ability and mental toughness.

Foster, Urbanski Lead Softball Against Triton

  Bourbon, IN. – Karissa Foster collected two hits, and Savannah Urbanski two hits and RBI, but it wasn’t enough as varsity softball lost, 11 – 1, at Triton Wednesday. Lindsey Aschenbrenner also added a hit as the Lancers jumped in front early. Mara Medors took the loss in the circle for the Lancers.

Softball Hangs Tough Against New Prairie

  The varsity softball team played tough Saturday before dropping a 4-0 NSC decision at New Prairie. Kamryn Gorka and Kendra Borton each collected singles for the Lancers. The Lancers are back in action Monday April 4 at Culver, 5 pm.

Softball Team Falls to Class 2A #5 Bremen

The varsity softball team lost to Class 2A, No.5-ranked Bremen Wednesday. Kamryn Gorka, Mya Thornton, Elizabeth Wise, Lindsey Aschenbrenner, and Alex Hamitlon all had hits for the Lancers.

Softball Team Out Slugs Triton but Falls Short 8-7

Taesha Senders, Mya Thornton, and Savannah Urbanski cracked two hits in a 8 – 7 NSC varsity softball loss to Class 1A, No.10-ranked Triton. The Lancers had the tying run on second in the bottom of the seventh, but couldn’t score.  Celeste Feitz walked four and struck out three for the loss in the circle.
