The eighth grade girl’s basketball team played tough but fell short 28-21 to Caston in the championship game of the Hoosier North Athletic Conference Tournament.
Chloe Herbster led LaVille with eight points and Kate Aschenbrenner added seven.
The eighth grade finished the season with a 9-7 overall record.
