LaVille boys set three new records at the Dennis Rippy Invitational Friday night. Luke Beehler started the night off by jumping 20’3″ breaking the record set by Ethan Kertai (19’3″) last year. The 4x100M relay team of Kolby Watts, Luke Beehler, Ethan Yoder and Nick Felke crossed the finish line in a time of 45.25 seconds breaking the record that was set last year by LaVille by the team of Tarren Rauen, Luke Beehler, Mason Leed and Ethan Kertai (45.48). Austin Dove had to wait quite a while before he got his shot at high jump and put his name on the record board with a height of 6’3″ breaking Jimtown’s Sam Pawlek’s jump of 6’2″. The team ended up placing 3rd overall.
