The Concord Kelly Relays are a series of relays where teams compete in both field and running events. The distances, heights and times are combined for a total score for each event. The Lancers dominated the field events by taking first place in high jump and second place in both shot put and discus. The Lancers did not field a team for the long jump or pole vault.
The Lancers also placed well in the sprint relays. They did not have a relay team for the Freshmen sprint medley. The following are the results:
1st place finishes:
High jump team of Austin Dove (6’2″), Luke Beehler(5’10”) and Rilee White(5′ 8″).
4 x 100M relay team of Connor Manges, Ethan Yoder, Kolby Watts and Luke Beehler (44.87).
4 x 200M relay team of Tommy Goze, Ethan Yoder, Kolby Watts and Luke Beehler (1:35.71).
2nd place finishes:
Discus team of Jacob Hominiuk(115′ 10″), Anthony Hatter(109′ 10 1/2″) and Zach Atkinson(102′ 9 1/2″).
Shot put team of R.J. Gentner(43′ 2 1/2″), Anthony Hatter(34′ 4″), and Zach Atkinson(36′ 3″).
3rd place finishes:
4 x 400M relay team of Kolby Watts, Tommy Goze, Ayden Doyle and Ethan Yoder (3:40.43).
Sprint medley team of Connor Manges (100M), Kolby Watts(100M), Luke Beehler(200M) and Ethan Yoder(400M) with a time of 1:39.79.
5th place finishes:
Hurdle relay team of Connor Manges, Riley Wagoner, Rilee White and Jorge Esguerra (1:17.96)
Both the girls and boys’ teams will be back in action next Tuesday, May 8th at North Judson for the HNAC Field Events. On Thursday, May 10th the HNAC running events will be held at Knox.
