TERRE HAUTE, IN- This past Saturday, 10 middle school boys travelled nearly 4 hours to the Cross Country capital of the country in hopes of winning the Middle School State Track meet. In nearly 90 degree heat, those athletes left everything on the track. Everyone had a great time, and there were even some personal records broken. Collin Allen was the lone medalist for the boys in the Discus with a personal record throw of 135’1.25″. That toss was good enough to land him a 5th Place finish out of 24 of the top athletes in the state. The boys finished undefeated on the season, conference champs, and set numerous school records. Now many of them look forward to competing at the high school level next season.
