WINAMAC, IN. – The varsity boy’s cross country team participated in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference Championships at Winamac Town Park.
LaVille recorded five new personal best runs in finishing seventh overall as a team.
Alex Menting was the top LaVille runner, finishing 29th overall in a time of 20:35. Sam Lillie was 33rd, Connor Henry 34th, Dawson Beam 35th, and Caleb Christy 36th, as a pack of Lancer runners cross the finish line. Charlie Lemberis finished 44th. Isaac Lillie knocked over two minutes off his time to finish 46th..
Winamac’s Ryan Huggler took medalist honors in a time of 16:30.
The Warriors put four in the top 10 to take home the HNAC team trophy.
Caston was second, Knox, Third, Triton fourth, North Judson-San Pierre fifth, Pioneer sixth, and the Lancers sixth.
