BREMEN, IN. – The co-ed cross country team traveled to Jane’s Park in Bremen to run a triangular meet against Bremen and Triton.
LaVille finished third as a team, however, ran well on a difficult course.
The Lancers place three runners in the Top 20, and two just outside the Top 20.
Dawson Beam led the Lancers with a 15th place finish. Alex Menting was 16th and Sam Lillie 20th. Caleb Christy concluded the course in 21st place, while Conner Henry was 22nd.
Charlie Lemberis was 27th and Isaac Lillie 29th.
The overall winner was Jacob Fish of Bremen with a time of 19-minutes, 13-seconds.
LaVille travel to the 22-team Caston Invitational Saturday, September 7.
“This is where the season gets fun,” said LaVille coach Erin Ecker. “Every meet offers these opportunities to demonstrate personal growth aside from what we see on the stopwatch.”
