LaVille Athletic Scoreboard – Tuesday March 10, 2015

The junior high wrestling team traveled to Bremen Tuesday. The Lancers picked up a 75 – 37 victory. Individual winners included Doug King, Jed Rock, Nick Felke, Russell Gentner, Dawson Leed, Edger Albarado, Devin Kase, Jacob Hominick, Dylan Reed, and Simeon Norton. The junior Lancers will host Culver Thursday at 5 pm. * * *

Boys Basketball Regional Tickets On Sale Now!

A limited number of tickets for this Saturday’s IHSAA Regional are on sale in the front office at LaVille Jr./Sr. High School.  These tickets are $10 each and good for the entire regional tournament.   If fans want a single session ticket, they are $7 and must be purchased at the gate on Saturday.  

Jr. High Girls Basketball Teams Split with Bremen

The junior high girls basketball team hosted Bremen Monday Night. The seventh grade dropped a 28 – 14 decision to the Lions. Ashton Applegate led the Lancers with six points. The eighth graders continued to play tough defense in a 19 – 15 victory.  Kelsey Aschenbrenner led the way with 13 points.

Boys Basketball Sectional Champions!

For the second time in the last 3 seasons and the 5th time in LaVille’s history, the LaVille Lancers are Sectional Champions.  The Lancers defeated Prairie Heights 56-48 to earn the 2015 IHSAA Sectional #35 Title. Boys Basketball Team Knocks Off Fremont in Sectional Semi-Final

The boys Basketball team took another step to a sectional title Friday Night defeating the Fremont Eagles 47-26.  The Lancers came out of the gate red hot outscoring Fremont 24-1 in the opening quarter.  the Eagles never recovered. The junior high wrestling team hosted the 12-team Twin Super Saturday. The Lancers swept through pool play with a 4 – 0 record beating Rochester, North Judson, Schmucker and Tippecanoe Valley.  In the championship, Discovery bested the Lancers, 79 – 39. Boys Basketball Team Drops Last Home Game to Jimtown

The Boys Basketball team hosted Jimtown Friday.   The JV finished on the short end of a 55 – 41 loss to the Jimmies.  JC Oudes led the Lancers with 9 points.  The JV Lancers finished the season with a 4 – 17 record. The varsity lost 66 – 64 in overtime to Jimtown. Blake
