Heather Roeder Signs to Play Soccer at The University of Indianapolis

Athletic Scoreboard – Tuesday Feb 3, 2015

The junior high girls basketball team started the season at LaSalle Academy Tuesday. The 7th grade girls basketball team dropped a 40 – 6. decision. Ashton Applegate led the Lancers with 4 points. The 8th graders, meanwhile, picked up a 29-23 victory. Kelsey Aschenbrenner led with 8 points, while Amber Wells and Shelfie Zeiger chipped in 7 points

6 Wrestlers Advance to Regionals

This past Saturday the LaVille Wrestling Team participated in the LaPorte Wrestling Sectional.  Corrian Correll was crowned sectional champion at 195.  A total of six wrestlers earned the opportunity to advance to the Regional this coming Saturday. Advancing Wrestlers: Bryant Hunsberger (2nd at 145) Ben Norton II (2nd at 170) Caleb Dudeck (3rd at 182)

Lancers Cruise Past Culver 77-39

On homecoming night, LaVille’s Kyle Kopetski hit five 3 pointers in the first half, was crowned Homecoming King at Halftime and hit for five more points in limited playing time in the second half finishing with 20 points to lead the Lancers past Culver 77-39.  Blake Berger hit for a double double scoring 14 points

Girls Basketball Team Comes Back to Beat Argos 35-31

After a slow start against Argos scoring only 8 points in the first half, the Lady Lancers came out on a mission in the second half.  Behind some sharp shooting from MaCkenzie Leed and Mallory Vernon, the Lady Lancers fought all the way back and hung on at the end to steal a victory away

Boys Basketball Team Cages Zebras 57-21

Following a TCU Bi-County Championship last weekend, the opportunity for a let down was lingering on everyone’s mind coming into Tuesday night’s boys basketball game against a physical Rochester team.  Then Kyle Kopetski showed up.  Leading the Lancers with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals, Kopetski made sure a let down wasn’t in the mix
