Softball Team Falls to Class 2A #5 Bremen

The varsity softball team lost to Class 2A, No.5-ranked Bremen Wednesday. Kamryn Gorka, Mya Thornton, Elizabeth Wise, Lindsey Aschenbrenner, and Alex Hamitlon all had hits for the Lancers.

Softball Team Out Slugs Triton but Falls Short 8-7

Taesha Senders, Mya Thornton, and Savannah Urbanski cracked two hits in a 8 – 7 NSC varsity softball loss to Class 1A, No.10-ranked Triton. The Lancers had the tying run on second in the bottom of the seventh, but couldn’t score.  Celeste Feitz walked four and struck out three for the loss in the circle.

Baseball gets on top of Triton early but can’t hang on in 6-4 loss

LaVille Lancers Varsity jumped out to an early lead, but was unable to hold on and lost 6-4 to Triton on Monday. Ryan Bettcher had two extra-base hits for LaVille. He doubled in the first and third innings and singled in the seventh inning.  He also collected 2 RBIs to lead the Lancers. Bryce Bustamante

Simmons & Leed Victorious at New Prairie

The girls tennis team travelled to New Prairie Monday night in NSC action.  LaVille’s #1 doubles tandem of Katie Simmons and McKenzie Leed came away victorious but the team fell 4-1 to the Cougars. #1 Singles Riley Moody (NP) def Kaitlyn Haisley (L) 6-3,6-0 #2 Singles Tessa Bauman (NP) def Tabitha Lymburner (L) 6-1, 6-0

Lancer SB Drops 12-7 NSC Opener To Glenn

  Kendra Borton reached base three times and scored two runs, but it wasn’t enough in a 12 – 7 Northern State Conference opening game loss to John Glenn.  Kamryn Gorka, Alex Hamilton, Lindsey Aschenbrenner and Mara Medors all had hits, including a double for Hamilton as the Lancers rallied for a brief 5-4 lead

Girls Tennis Falls at SB Adams

The girls tennis team fell to SB Adams on Friday 4-1.  Kaitlyn Haisley collected the lone Lancer team point at #1 singles. #1 Singles – Kaitlyn Haisley won 7-5, 6-2 #2 Singles – Tabitha Lymburner lost 2-6, 0-6 #3 Singles – Karli Watts lost 0-6, 2-6 #1 Doubles – MacKenzie Leed / Savannah Lucas lost

Kapke, Kertai, Casteel Pick Up Blue Ribbons For JH Track

  The junior high co-ed track team traveled to Jimtown Tuesday.
