Boys Varsity Cross Country, Girls Varsity Cross Country · IHSAA State Cross Country Tournament Information


SOUTH BEND, IN. – The 75th Annual Boys Cross Country State Tournament and the 40th Annual Girls Cross Country State Tournament will begin at the sectional level on Saturday, October 10.

South Bend Riley High School will host the local sectional round at Erskine Golf Course.

The physical address of Erskine Golf Course is 4200 Miami Street, South Bend, Indiana, 46614.

Admission will be $5 per person and Masks and Physical Distancing are Mandatory.

Bremen, John Glenn, LaVille, Mishawaka, Mishawaka Marian, Penn, South Bend Adams, South Bend Career Academy, South Bend Clay, South Bend Saint Joseph, and South Bend Washington will join the host Wildcats.

 

The girls race is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m., with the boys race to follow at 9 a.m.

COURSE/FACILITY

Just a reminder that the sectional course is located on a municipal golf course that is heavily used. The city of South Bend and the School Corporation have agreed to some restrictions with the possible loss of privileges if the agreement is not followed. Keeping off the tees and greens, respecting golfers privileges and keeping restrooms areas clean are all part of the agreement. It would be appreciated if all would assist in this management task. Restrooms are limited.

A REMINDER TO PARENTS/SPECTATORS: COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. No tents, and tables of foods will be permitted.

 

 

PARKING

Parents, and spectators should use the Fellows Street entrance. Parking will be limited. Be prepared to park on the street, “PLEASE do not use the Miami Street parking lot. Parents are not allowed to rent carts.

 

 

TIMING

Watt’s My Time will be timing the event. All individuals on your IHSAA entry list will be given two chips. At the end of competition turn in all chips and extra safety pins. If chips are found after completion of competition please return to host school.
