Girls Varsity Basketball · LaVille Lady Hoops Back In HNAC Action At Knox

KNOX, IN. – LaVille Lady Hoops is back in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference wars at league-leading Knox.

The Lancers are 4-13 overall and 1-4 in the HNAC, while the Redskins enter the fray at 16-3 overall and 5-0 in loop play.

“Playing the current top two teams in the conference in one week is always tough,” said LaVille coach Corey Duncan following a 51-20 loss to Class 2A #5 North Judson-San Pierre Tuesday.  “We are going to use some things we learned in the Judson game with Knox.

“Knox will trap us most of the game defensively and drive and attack the rim hard on offense,” continued Duncan.  “Lindsey Simpson and Remi Jordan will be two players we need to key on.  Simpson does so many things that make her teammates better.  Jordan does a nice job in the post.”
It will be a girl-boy varsity doubleheader at Knox.  LaVille Lady Hoops will start things off at 6:30 p.m., with the varsity boys to follow.
