Girls Varsity Basketball, Girls Varsity Soccer · KELSEY ASCHENBRENNER: “Find A Group Of Friends That Challenge And Support You”

LAKEVILLE, IN. – Senior Kelsey Aschenbrenner plays soccer, basketball and helps with Unified Track at LaVille High School.  Aschenbrenner is the first of the fall Senior Profile Series.

We will pick a senior from each fall sport over the next several weeks to highlight and learn a little more about each one of them.

When asked how she stays on top of home work being a student-athlete, she responded, “I take advantage of the class time teachers give to work on homework and I try to get ahead on weekends.”

Aschenbrenner also believes that a strong support system helps all student-athletes.  “I would tell them to work hard in both school and athletics. Also, to find a good group of friends that challenge and support you.”

Being involved as a student-athlete has had many positive experiences, according to Aschenbrenner.  “It has been so memorable because it brought me all my best friends and such unforgettable moments like
winning (soccer) sectionals last year.”
