LAKEVILLE, IN. – The LaVille High School football program recently held the annual awards recognition program. The 2016 Lancers finished with a school-best 10-2 record, just ahead of the 1982 team that finished 10-3. The 2016 LaVille football team finished 8th in the IFCA Class 1A final regular season rankings, 30th in the state in scoring offense, 29th in the state in defensive points allowed, and 20th in the state in average margin of victory.
The senior class of 2016 also finished a 4-year career of 32-14, ahead of the 1985 senior class that finished, 27-16.
LaVille’s Will Hostrawser is now 32-14 following his fourth campaign as head coach of the Lancers. The 2016 unit finished second in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference with a mark of 7-1.
